Junior Financial Manager

A leading Health Care Organisation in the Somerset West area is looking for a motivated and dedicated Junior Financial Manager.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Must have a B. Comm Management Accounting or B.Comm Financial Accounting degree/CIMA
  • Must have at least a minimum of 1 years’ experience in a Junior Financial Manager position
  • Must be Bilingual (English and Afrikaans)
  • Must be Computer literate (Microsoft Office) – advanced Excel skills

Key Performance Areas: 

  • Accurate and complete trial balance
  • Accurate and timely monthly management statements
  • Financial statements that comply with company rules
  • Accurately and timely valuation projections
  • Accurate and up to date budgets
  • Accurate and timely provisional tax calculations
  • Analysis and reports to make projects profitable
  • Timely feedback and communication to relevant parties
  • Report on abnormalities
  • Well managed petty cash
  • Complete and accurate fixed asset register
  • Reconciled bank account
  • Reconciled trial balance, balance sheet & income statement
  • Planning of tasks

  • Must have the ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
