Production Manager (CMT Textile Environment)

Western Cape – Blackheath

One of our clients, a well-known Manufacturer based in Blackheath in Cape Town is looking for a Production Manager (CMT Textile Environment) for their Canvas Factory.

Purpose of position:

The person will be responsible for the National & International Rooftop Tents, Trailer Tents, Vehicle Awnings, Dome and Frame Tents

Minimum Requirements:

• Must have a Grade 12
• Matric and or Diploma / Certificate with relevant experience in Textile manufacturing
• Minimum of at least 10 years’ in the Textile Industry – CMT Environment
• Experience as a Production Manager in a fast- paced manufacturing environment preferably in the Large format Tent / Canvas & Awning Industry
• Must have suitable skills / knowledge of specifically the Outdoor Dealership and High-end Retail market with an eye for detail
• Computer literacy in MS Office, MS Excel and MS Word
• Ability to negotiate up to corporate level
