This role is situated in Bedfordview, JHB.
We are seeking a dynamic and high-performing Sales Manager within our solar panel energy sales team. This role involves managing company-generated leads, scheduling, confirming, and closing the sale. The ideal candidate will help us achieve our customer acquisition and revenue growth goals by keeping our company competitive and innovative. You will be responsible for maximising your potential, crafting effective sales plans, and presenting these plans to upper management.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive Sales Growth: Achieve and exceed sales targets by effectively
- Lead by Example: Achieve sales targets
- Strategic Planning: Design and implement a strategic business plan to expand the company’s customer base and strengthen market presence.
- Customer Relationship Management: Build and foster strong, long-lasting relationships with customers by understanding their needs and aligning them with the products and services.
- Reporting and Forecasting: Present sales, revenue, and expenses reports, along with realistic forecasts, to the management team.
- Performance Tracking: Monitor your sales goals and key performance indicators (KPIs) to ensure the success of the business..
Requirements
- Proven track record as a successful solar sales manager, consistently meeting or exceeding targets.
- Commitment to continuous education through workshops, seminars, and conferences.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and influencing skills at all organisational levels.
- Strong business acumen and industry expertise.
- Demonstrated ability to drive the sales process from planning to closing.
- If you have been an Engineer within the Solar Panel Industry with Sales experience, it will be an additional advantage, but not essential
