Senior Project Engineer
The Client specialises in industrial and commercial end-to-end heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems. They are based in Cape Town and looking for Senior Project Engineer with the opportunity to grow into Management with direct road to management /directorship.
Requirements
- Driver’s License
- South African Citizen
- Undergrad degree with post graduate studies advantageous (Mechanical Engineer)
- 5 years Engineering design, construction management, with HVAC experience
- Professional Registration
Duties
- Technical lead in engineering office
- Managing technical aspects on multiple HVAC projects (design and implementation)
- Managing technical design and implementation on large HVAC applications
- Estimation and cost control
- Drive deadline achievement on all projects
- Manage technical staff and contractors
- Project reporting to management
- Technical submittals as part of project approval processes
- Maintain change management logs and variation orders
- Notify builder and relevant parties of any delays
- Protect the company from potential penalties by actively managing the program
- Inform Directors of any issues on site which need immediate attention
- Managing the claim process, including verification of certificates and claim queries
