Our client, the owner of four (6) very successful Nail Salons in Cape Town and surroundings, is urgently looking for a Maintenance Manager to join their team.

Responsibilities:

• Plan and coordinate all installations and refurbishments
• Manage the upkeep of equipment and supplies to meet the Health and Safety standards
• Inspect building structures and determine the need for repairs or renovations, including budgeting and seeking quotations for approval
• Supervise staff and external contractors
• Effectively manage safety and access control at facilities, including maintenance of alarms, fire equipment, control of keys, parking allocation etc.
• Attend to ad-hoc tasks and queries

Key requirements and Competencies

• Proven experience as maintenance manager or relevant position
• Basic maintenance abilities
• Understanding and excellent knowledge of Health and Safety requirements
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Excellent organisational and leadership skills
• Knowledge of basic accounting and finance principles
• Good analytical/critical thinking
