Our client, a well-known manufacturing organisation is seeking to employ a Fitters Assistant.

KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS

• Assist Fitters as required with machine maintenance, repairs & daily tasks
• Perform minor repairs to machines / buildings
• Assist maintenance stores as required e.g., collecting or unloading/loading of stock
• Spray-painting and painting of various projects
• Assist/relieve effluent plant operator when necessary
• Be responsible for all lubrication and greasing of machines
• Oil store room to be kept neat and tidy at all times
• Stock of all lubricants, oils etc. to be kept up to date

REQUIREMENTS

• Must have Mechanical experience
• Forklift license preferable
• Ability to work independently
• Ability to cope with pressure
