Working life in Ghana!

City Buildings
TSM Consulting is expanding and one of the avenues is venturing into Ghana.  What an amazing experience! Not knowing what to expect, was a bit daunting, but the friendliness of the people in Ghana made it easier. The humid weather was something to adapt to, but luckily air conditioned offices welcomed us. We are very excited about the possibilities that Ghana has to offer. Anglo Gold Ashanti is already one of our clients and it is a real pleasure doing business with them.

IssacTSM Consulting appointed Isaac Okwaning who is born and bred in Ghana. He enjoys the traditional Ghanaian dishes.

Exploring the city is a learning experience, one need to have excellent negotiation skills, to ensure that you don’t pay too much for a taxi or anything for that matter. If you are hungry, fruits like mango and bananas are found everywhere and it is a treat to see the locals cutting and serving it for their customers in the street.

Interesting Ghana facts:

FlagThe meaning of the Flag:

“I decided on the three colors of red, gold & green because of the geography of Ghana.  Ghana lies in the tropics and blessed with rich vegetation. The color Gold was influenced by the mineral rich nature of our lands and Red commemorates those who died or worked for the country’s independence.  Then the five pointed lone star which is the symbol of African emancipation and unity in the struggle against colonialism.” Designer: Mrs. Theodosia Salome Okoh.
