Our client, a leader in the Packaging Industry, has a vacancy for an experienced HR Practitioner based in Epping.
KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS
- Ensure the correct application of all Company policies and procedures.
- Implement and maintain sound HR Administration practices.
- Responsible for payroll input to Shared Services and ensuring no payroll queries.
- Effective Recruitment and Selection
- Accurately compiling monthly HR reports /Training Reports
- Manpower Planning and movements
- Effective handling of various HR-related queries
- Arrange and attend disciplinary hearings, grievance hearings and IR-related issues.
- Arrange and minute monthly Union & Transformation meetings.
- Responsible for H.R company Inductions
REQUIREMENTS & SKILLS
- B degree / Diploma in Human Resource Management / Industrial Psychology
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in HR in a manufacturing union environment
- Excellent Computer skills and familiar with HR systems
- Good working knowledge of S.A Labour laws
- Understanding of business principles and HR environment
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work independently & under pressure.
- Strong Leadership skills
