Our client, a well-known manufacturing organisation is seeking to employ a Fitter and Turner.

Key Responsibilities

• Preventative maintenance
• Conducting risk assessments
• Inspecting and selecting tools for various tasks
• Assembly of machinery parts
• Construction and fabrication of machine parts and pipes
• Welding of machine parts (arc and gas welding)

Minimum Qualifications

• Diploma or Red Seal in Fitting or Welding
• International Welding Certificate
• Minimum of 5years’ experience in plant or factory
• Health and Safety protocol knowledge

Technical and Behavioural Competencies

• Resilience
• Detail orientated
• Strong technical and planning skills including technical problem solving
• Strong project management
• Time management skills
• Ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines
• Excellent written and verbal communication
