Our client, situated in Kuilsriver, have an available position for a Maintenance Supervisor to join their well-establish manufacturing organisation.

KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS

• Take charge of the maintenance team and delegate as required
• Will plan scheduled maintenance in accordance with Asset Care
• Will prioritize production constraints related to maintenance
• Make sure Planned job cards are signed off and approve them in-line with expectations
• Schedule/shift Job cards as per machine availability for maintenance
• Make sure breakdown Job cards exists and are descriptive, and machine section reflects on job card
• Make sure Job cards include spares used, if any
• Follow-up on service provider reports recommendations by creating job cards for these recommendations and closing them off on completion.

REQUIREMENTS

• Must have served a recognized apprenticeship.
• Matric qualification and Trade test passed with red seal certificate preferable
• At least 5 years post qualification manufacturing experience working on high-speed machinery.
• Must able to work overtime, be on call out and work weekends if required.
• Ability to meet deadlines

• Able to perform under pressure
• Must be proactive.
• Attention to detail & fault-finding skills critical
• Minimize downtime
• Take charge of projects
• Implement modifications to enhance machine capabilities
