Job Description

Our client, a well-known manufacturing organization is seeking to employ a HR administrator.

KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS

  • Ensure that Kronos Time and Attendance system is optimized for weekly & Monthly payroll.
  • Checking that hours worked by employees are properly authorized by relevant Dept Head timeously
  • Processing of weekly & monthly Input accurately and on time
  • Capturing of leave, training & Disciplinaries on R System
  • Generate various reports as required g., overtime, leave, sick leave, training
  • Ensure that all HR Administration for New Engagements & Exiting employees is completed timeously and well maintained for record purposes.
  • Assist weekly & monthly staff with medical aid queries, Loan applications
  • Ensure that all H.R administration for Retirement Fund home Loans / Beneficiary forms / Funeral Claims is completed accurately and on time
  • Assist with Ad hoc R duties as required from time to time

 

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Grade 12 Qualification
  • Incumbent must be computer literate (MS Office – Excel, Word, Microsoft Outlook)
  • Post-matric qualification e. H.R National Diploma
  • Knowledge of applicable software e.: Kronos, Mpower; Saflec
  • Knowledge of Labour Law Legislations

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE & SKILLS

  • 2 - 5 years’ work experience in a similar position
  • Experience in the Manufacturing Industry will be an added advantage
  • Attention to detail
  • Ability to work under pressure
  • People Management skills
  • High level of integrity and confidentiality
